The Masonic 11th District of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Texas, in a powerful display of its commitment to community, recently partnered with Action 152 Inc., Vistar Distribution Center – Dallas/Fort Worth, and Live Stone Lodge No. 152 to host a series of food distribution events aimed at serving the most vulnerable members of the Dallas community.

This collaborative effort provided essential sustenance to elderly residents and children at the MLK Recreation Center and various local churches. The initiative brought together a unique and impactful coalition of organizations.

The Masonic 11th District, a fraternal organization with a long-standing tradition of philanthropy, leveraged its network and resources to mobilize volunteers and support the cause.

Action 152 Inc. and Vistar Distribution Center – Dallas/Fort Worth, organizations dedicated to community betterment, provided crucial logistical and on-the-ground support, ensuring the smooth execution of the distribution events.

The partnership was anchored by the generous contributions of Action 152 Inc., and Vistar Distribution Center – Dallas/Fort Worth, a program focused on providing food to those in need.

“This is what we are called to do as Masons—to serve our community and uplift those who need it most,” said DDGM Terrance Sauls from the Masonic 11th District.

“By working hand-in-hand with our partners, we were able to make a tangible difference in the lives of our seniors and children, ensuring they have access to nutritious food.”

The food distribution events were met with immense gratitude from the community. At the MLK Recreation Center, families lined up to receive boxes filled with a variety of fresh produce, pantry staples, and other essential items.

Similar scenes of relief and appreciation were seen at participating churches, where the combined efforts of the partners reached deeply into neighborhoods. This collaborative project exemplifies the power of community partnership.

By combining their distinct strengths and resources, the Masonic 11th District, Action 152 Inc., Vistar Distribution Center – Dallas/Fort Worth, and Live Stone Lodge No. 152 created a comprehensive and effective program to address food insecurity.

This initiative stands as a testament to their shared vision of building a stronger, more compassionate Dallas.
