Dallas, TX – On Monday, November 17, 2025, Bro. Tyrone Deadmon II, Worshipful Master for the Cherubim Lodge #237 (Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Texas and Its Jurisdiction), presented Mr. Jakorian Jackson, a senior at The Legendary Lincoln High School in Dallas, Texas, with the Masonic District #11 Student of the Month Award.
Cherubim Lodge #237 worked closely with two (2) Lincoln High School Counselors, Ms. Rhonda Woods and Ms. Vonda Pipkins, in selecting and submitting Mr. Jackson as a District #11 Student of the Month. Ms. Woods and Ms. Pipkins shared that Mr. Jackson is a student that is very motivating to his peers and that he pushes his peers to be a part of the percentage of students that will succeed in life.
Mr. Jackson excels both academically and athletically. As a key player on the Lincoln Boys Basketball team, Mr. Jackson plays the position of power forward, demonstrating both skill and leadership on the court. Academically, he shines as an A-B honor roll student and is a proud member of the National Honor Society. Beyond academics and sports, Mr. Jackson is also a leader at his school, inspiring his peers to make positive decisions and strive for excellence.
Mr. Jackson was presented the distinguished recognition by Worshipful Master Tyrone Deadmon II with Senior Warden Larry Russell and District Deputy Grand Master Terrance Sauls also there in support. District Deputy Grand Master Sauls informed Mr. Jackson that he is in a village of support around him. He also shared that Mr. Jackson will have the opportunity to participate in the District #11 Scholarship Essay Contest in the spring, to which we will be informing him of the details.
