Dallas, TX – District #11 held its first Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Paul Drayton Lodge #9 in Dallas, Texas.
Matthew 6:33 – “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
The Prayer Breakfast started at 8am with breakfast being served. Breakfast was mostly prepared by the Brothers of Paul Drayton Lodge #9 with SDDGM Vick Bates who cooked the eggs.
The event was coordinated by SDDGM James Spann.
After breakfast, prayers were lifted up and testimonies were shared. It was a very powerful an impactful session with men, masons, sharing and encouraging one another. It was truly a blessed time together in brotherly love, unity and compassion for one another.
Psalm 133
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to DWELL TOGETHER in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
In this season, a number of Brothers are dealing with various challenges. We must never forget scripture reminding us to pray.
Luke 18:1 – And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
1 Thessalonians 5:17 – Pray without ceasing.
May the blessings of heaven rest upon us and all men of God and may brotherly love continue to prevail.
