The 11th Masonic District for the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Texas and Its Jurisdiction held another District #11 Training at its Masters and Past Masters Council Meeting on February 4, 2026. The meeting was held at Paul Drayton Lodge.

Prior to the Training, District Deputy Grand Master Terrance Sauls called on Special District Deputy Grand Master Vick Bates to provide an update on our participation in the city of Dallas’ Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade, from both walking in the parade to also serving as Parade Marshals.
Afterwards, Special District Deputy Grand Master Preston Watson provided an update on the District #11 Student of the Month presentations and gave kudos to the lodges for their success in working with the high school counselors throughout the District to identify students who are worthy of the recognition, which continues to build our relationship with the schools.
Prior to the Training, District Deputy Grand Master Sauls presented some recognitions:
* King David Lodge #151 – Outstanding Masonic Lodge for Improved Lodge Engagement and Activity. PM Raymond Wilson received on behalf of the lodge.
* Metropolitan Lodge #146 – Outstanding Masonic Lodge for Improved Lodge Engagement and Activity. Bro. Joseph Watson received on behalf of his lodge.
* Gilbert Grove #263 – Outstanding Masonic Lodge for Outstanding Service and Leadership To Their Community. Worshipful Master Rashad Crainey received on behalf of his lodge.
* Cheribum Lodge #237 – Outstanding Masonic Lodge for Increased New Membership. Worshipful Master Tyrone Deadmon II received on behalf of his lodge.
* Bro. Clinton Baker – Outstanding Master Mason For Outstanding Service And Leadership To His Local Lodge, District and Community.
Afterwards, Worshipful Grand Lecturer John L. Carter, Sr., and Special District Deputy Grand Master John Webb gave a presentation on the 25 Landmarks of Freemasonry. Not only was their presentation informative, but it was also engaging and interactive.
